Days of work,

thousands of homes

Making a home sustainable used to mean a heat pump, solar panels, a battery and a charging point. Each with its own installer, its own configuration and its own app. It takes days per home and it disrupts the people living there. Without something steering all of it, most of the saving stays on the table. Pipelife wanted one product that arrives ready, goes in quickly, and is built for dynamic tariffs from day one.

One module,

with our EMS inside

The Wattmaestro EMS sits inside the EasyThermPlus as its control layer. It steers every installation in the home locally and switches on price and weather forecast: the heat pump runs in the cheap hours, the car charges on the household's own solar, the battery discharges when prices peak, and the panels switch off at negative market prices. Control runs on the gateway, so the home keeps working when the connection drops. Updates go out over the air.

Installed before lunch,

ready for what comes

The EasyThermPlus runs on a standard connection and is installed in an afternoon. That makes it workable for renovation programmes and new build alike, and it qualifies for ISDE subsidy. The resident does nothing and still gets the benefit. For Pipelife it shows what an embedded EMS makes possible: a product that ships smart, under their own name, ready for whatever gets added to the home next.
